Standing in the Storm - by Matt McChlery

‘In the darkest part of my life, in the middle of the mess and suffering, Jesus was there, holding my hand and giving me the strength I needed to simply stand in the storm’

In 2016, Matt McChlery and his wife experienced the loss of an unborn child and the discovery that he had life-threatening cancer – Stage Four non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Confronted by such darkness and a brutal treatment programme, Matt found himself wrestling with faith and the God he thought he knew.

Grounded, honest and vulnerable, this deeply personal book shares how Jesus was the rock that held fast throughout, and how, on the other side of the storm, His hope shone more brightly than ever. Find the comfort, hope and inspiration you need to keep standing in the storm, whatever you face.

THE GIRL IN THE PATCHWORK DRESS - By Sara Philp Cloete (PHG92)

THE GIRL IN THE PATCHWORK DRESS - By Sara Philp Cloete

A strikingly unusual autobiography in which Sara draws on over forty years experience of living in Africa, weaving soul lessons and core beliefs together in a tapestry of adventure and travel in the pursuit of a life less ordinary. This coupled with her strong sense of duty and responsibility to understand and co-create with Mother Earth through harnessing natural resources turn this book from a personal journey into a guiding framework for life.

The book has achieved #1 international bestseller status in 2 categories and we couldn’t be prouder.

Huge congratulations Sara Philp Cloete from the whole team here at Authors & Co.

BOOK LAUNCH!!!

The past two years have been extraordinary politically in Zimbabwe. Protests became our second nature, a dictator fell, we have a former President finally!

For the past six months I have been working on a book that transforms our interesting times into collection of short stories. It is important as Zimbabweans and Africans that we begin to write our own stories.

I celebrate and criticize the leading protestors, women and youth, and give warnings of our coming times especially with an over-ambitious military and weakening opposition parties.

The title of the short story collection is Aluta Continua: The Struggle Continues.

The book will be available in hardcopy (sold in Innov8 Bookshops) and online (on Amazon and Kindle) starting 2 February 2018. The book price from the author will be $5.

I look forward to hearing your plaudits and criticisms of my thoughts. Pre-orders are also available. Just inbox me on Facebook - Kudakwashe Andrew Manjonjo

20% of all proceeds of the book will go to establishing a library for Goromonzi District.
